Every Endowus client has a unique bank account number, this helps our systems identify and reconcile your transactions quickly and accurately within the Endowus client account at HSBC. Your financial assets remain segregated from Endowus company assets as required by the rules set by the Securities and Futures Commission of Hong Kong (SFC).
Please note that you can only transfer money from your linked bank account at Endowus. You can expect your deposit to appear in the cash balance of your Endowus account within 1 business day. For deposits made via telegraphic transfer, the processing time is expected to be within 5 business days.

How do I make HKD deposits via FPS?
Please note that deposits should only be made via your linked bank account at Endowus. For deposits made in a different account in your name, you will need to update your linked bank account to receive the deposit or the transfer may have to be rejected. Please note that rejected transfers will incur a rejection fee of HKD 250 and may take up to 2 months of processing time for the funds to be returned to the remitter’s bank account.
- In your banking app, navigate to the FPS transfers page
- Enter the Endowus FPS ID 103997516 (HKD) and beneficiary name ENDOWUS HK LIMITED - CLIENT ACCOUNT (where applicable)
- In the reference field, make sure to enter your unique reference code. This helps us to correctly identify the deposit as yours.

How do I make deposits via bank transfer?
Please note that deposits should only be made via your linked bank account at Endowus. For deposits made in a different account in your name, you will need to update your linked bank account to receive the deposit or the transfer may have to be rejected. Please note that we do not accept ATM or credit card transfers. Transfers made via ATM or credit card may have to be rejected.
Can I transfer funds from a money transfer platform, e-wallet or broker platform (e.g. Wise, PayMe, AlipayHK)?
At the moment, we are unable to accept any deposits from money transfer platforms, e-wallets or broker platforms such as Wise (formerly known as TransferWise), PayMe or AlipayHK. Transfers from these platforms will be rejected. Please note that rejected transfers will incur a rejection fee of HKD 250 and may take up to 2 months of processing time for the funds to be returned to the remitter’s bank account.
Can I transfer funds from someone else’s bank account/ joint name account?
As part of our Anti-Money Laundering/Combating the Financing of Terrorism (AML/CFT) policy, we cannot accept deposits transferred from a third party, including bank accounts that belong to your family members and friends. By the same token, we cannot accept deposits transferred from a joint name account to a single name account.
Please ensure that the name on the bank account you are sending your deposit from matches the name on your Endowus account. Third party transfers will be rejected, and it may take up to 2 months for the funds to be returned to the remitter’s bank account and will incur a rejection fee of HKD 250.
What if I have transferred cash to the wrong bank account or entered the wrong unique reference code?
If you transferred to wrong bank account:
