We understand that every client has unique circumstances and investment needs. By completing the risk profile assessment, we can assess your risk profile, investment knowledge and experience to ensure that we offer you the most suitable investment solutions on our platform.
What are the different types of risk profiles?
There are 6 categories of risk profiles and you may find the definitions below:
Conservative
As a conservative investor, you value protecting principal over seeking appreciation. You are willing to accept lower returns for a higher degree of stability, and primarily seek to minimise risk and loss of principal.
Moderately Conservative
As a moderately conservative investor, you value principal preservation, but are willing to accept a small degree of risk and volatility to seek some degree of appreciation.
Moderate
As a moderate investor, you value both reducing risks and enhancing returns. You are willing to accept moderate risks and volatility to seek higher long-term returns. You are comfortable with enduring short-term loss of principal in exchange for long-term appreciation.
Moderate Growth
As a moderate growth investor, you value long-term returns and are willing to accept moderate to medium risks to seek higher long-term returns. You are comfortable with enduring medium-term loss of principal in exchange for long-term appreciation.
Growth
As a growth investor, you value higher long-term returns and are willing to accept considerable risk. You are comfortable with enduring market fluctuations, in exchange for the potential of higher long-term appreciation.
Aggressive
As an aggressive investor, you value maximising long-term returns and are willing to accept significant risk. You are comfortable with enduring market fluctuations, in exchange for the potential of maximising higher long-term returns.
How long is my risk profile valid for?
Your risk profile is valid for 12 months from the date of last completion of your risk assessment. Your circumstances may change over time, so you can always retake the assessment in future to ensure that your risk profile stays up-to-date.
Will I be allowed to make investments if I have not completed my risk profile assessment?
No, you will not be able to invest on the Endowus platform before you have completed your risk profile assessment, as per rules and regulations set by the SFC.
